Akshi Tarpana is a procedure in which a dough is set around the eyes to make a bowl and medicated ghee is poured and the patient is asked to open and close the eyes. It is an amazing nourishment treatment that cures redness, pain, lacrimation,reduces burning and itching sensation, annihilates the swelling and mucous secretion of affected eyes. This treatment also strengthens ocular muscles and settles down refractive errors, expedites normal eye movements.
